A compelling read – eerily accurate in capturing the psyche of a teenage boy, visions of the remote Australian Outback, and the emotion of a carefree life so quickly taken away. I really enjoyed the author’s beautiful descriptive prose.
I became so invested in the protagonist; I was desperate to know how his journey ended … the heart-warming thrill of this story didn’t disappoint.
